I have said this before in many differnt posts, but I guess I need to have my own thread started. Here goes...
Do Not Submit Your Photos AS High Quality Unless You Are Ansel Freakin Adams!

We get too many submissions per day for me to have 15 photos waiting to be approved as high quality and stalling out in our DB. If you look at the Gallery right now...7 of the top 12 photos are medium quality.
FIGURE IT OUT!!! If you have a great pic that you want to be high....PM me first and show it ot me that way...otherwise....MEDIUM or LOW.
And make sure it has a link to a climibng area or route. If not and the route is not in our DB...ADD IT YOURSELF. Make the link. End of my rant.

Nice rant!
But too short, though - just when I was really getting interested, it ended. [sigh]
I mean, every now and then, as the saying goes, "ya just have to rant!" The therapeutic benefits of ranting cannot be understated. Few psychiatrists would disagree that a timely rant is good for one's mental well-being. You can almost see little smilie buddy here feeling better, can't you?
Who can deny the delight of a diatribe? And while harangues do have their place (particularly in the political arena) and tirades at times are undoubtedly salutory, how (pray tell) could either compare to a sententious rant?
And if anyone knows how to rant, it's me. Believe you me, buddy, I can rant right up there with the best of 'em.

I guess that not everyone read this when it fell farther down the page. So I will bring it to the top again. And I guess I have to use bigger letters and a different colour this time.
