I have been climbing since 1999 with two very long breaks (injury and schedule). The latter of these two is still going, but I am trying to get things organized so I can head out at least 3 times a week. I probably couldn't climb anything much tougher than the stairs right now, but I still enjoy every time I can get out.
You will never conquer the rock, she was there before you and she'll be there long after you're gone; climbing is about conquering yourself.
