Webbing is used in slings, runners, harnesses, anchor extensions and quickdraws, and also in hiking and camping gear. Webbing is available either tubular or flat and is most popular in one inch sizing but is available in two or three inch widths.
They can also be wrapped around the waist or used as leg loops, making them less bulky than the old school methods of using rope around the waist.
Webbing can also be looped over rock outcroppings as it is less likely to inch its way off the rock like regular rope.
