The Mammut Element Barryvox avalanche transceiver features single-button operation and a large display to make searching simple and fast. Digital 3-antenna design allows precise searching, even in deep-burial and close-proximity searches locates burials within a 60m range. In multiple burial scenarios, use the single button to mark rescued victims to mask their transceiver signals so you can more easily search for other victims. Clear LCD display and a loud speaker make it easy to interpret information from the transceiver. The Mammut Element Barryvox avalanche transceiver operates on 3 AAA alkaline batteries included for approximately 200 hrs. of transmission time. Adjustable bungee lanyard with clip secures around wrist or to jacket during a busy search to prevent inadvertent loss. Waterproof and impact-resistant housing stands up to regular use in winter weather. Compatible with all transceivers operating on the 457 kHz frequency.
