Slider for Ice Axes

The Slider from Grivel is a totally new idea and a great accessory for axes. The Slider is a hand rest that can slide right to the tail end of the shaft when hand support is needed when climbing leashless and can also slide right to the top end when the ice axe is used for a belay or to bear weight or in walking mode. The top elastic blocker, which secures the slider to the head of the axe, is included. N.B. It can be mounted on ice axes fitted with the new aerospace rivets.
