Description
"At home on big routes from the Coast Range to the Cordillera Blanca, this hip-length jacket has a trim, contoured fit that’s ideal for fast and light ascents. The storm-shedding Zenith passes Gore’s most rigid Engineered for Extreme Wet Weather® rating, while offering the superior comfort of extra-breathable Gore-Tex® XCR® laminate. The body, hood, and back are made with a medium-weight MI187R nylon face fabric. The protective polyester tricot inside backing helps the jacket to easily slide on over other layers. Contrasting shoulder yoke and side and arm panels utilize heavier MI270 nylon fabric for better abrasion resistance in high-wear areas.
The bevy of storm-bustin’ design features include a high collar with adjustable drawcord to seal in body heat, and an adjustable elastic inside waist to keep out snow. The detachable hood has a stiff, rain-shedding brim, adjustable hood tunnel, and eye level, vertically adjustable drawcords to enhance peripheral vision.
Exposed full-length Uretek front zipper reduces bulk and has a narrow back flap to eliminate any water seepage through the zipper.
Exposed Uretek underarm zippers reduce bulk and weight.
Two outside upper chest pockets with exposed Uretek zippers are accessible even while wearing a harness or waistbelt.
One zippered inside chest pocket, plus an easy-access stretch mesh inside pouch pocket.
Adjustable elastic drawcord on bottom hem seals out drafts.
Elasticized cuffs seal with curved hook-and-loop tab closures.
Brushed polyester chin guard prevents chafing.
Made in Canada, fabric from USA. "
