The Patagonia Zephur jacket is a lightly insulated windbreaker style shell that can be worn as an outer layer, mid layer or even as a base layer. The jacket is constructed of an Encapsil treated 1.8 oz. ripstop polyester shell with a brushed polyester Tricot lining. The Encapsil shell is designed to be wind proof and water resistant while retaining a high degree of breathability. The jacket has one stash pocket located on the left breast and has elastic cuffs and an adjustable elastic waistband. The jacket lacks a hood and hand pockets. When not in use the jacket may be compressed into a volume approximately the size of a large grapefruit.

I wanted the dri-clime windshirt but was unwilling to pay 100 bucks for it. Luckily, I found this at my local shop for half off on sale. This jacket is lighter than Marmot's Driclime. So far, its been awesome for riding my bike around town. It breathes really well, and wicks moisture really well. It also blocks the wind exceptionally. I got the version without the pockets, although i dont know if they still make this version. Good wind-shirt type jacket!
