Description

Compact and pear-shaped, the Attache carabiners are particularly appreciated for their lightness. They are excellent carabiners for clipping to an anchor or using with a descender. They are also effective for use with an Italian (Munter) hitch on a single rope. Weight: 78 grams.

Stays on my harness, permaconnected to my safety 4 out of 5 stars

Review by: brandom, 2009-05-13

This biner is great at what I've chosen it to do; it stays connected to the far end of my safety sling. It is compact so it stays out of the way but big enough to get a few lines through it. Handy when I've got a bit of a rats nest going on at the power point! Others have noted the tendency to lock itself, so I've supplemented my safety with a non-locking biner for super quick clipping if I need to.

I can't stand these. They unscrew by themselves and I have had a few screw thenselves up so tight that they can't be opened. Will never buy another one.

This is my favorite 'biner to take with me on my rack. I always make sure I have one. It works great for the munter hich on the big side. It also accommodates the GriGri perfectly. All in all, it is a great belay 'biner!

Great biner! Last one you will ever need to buy for belaying. Nice "red your dead" ring around the lock for a great visual to go with your physical "click" check.
