Description
The Offset-D shape of the 12mm carabiner was chosen to maximise its strength by placing the load close and parallel to the spine of the carabiner. This serves to reduce bending moments at the ends of the spine and therefore the forces on the gate. This carabiner is best suited to situations where maximum strength is of paramount importance.

This thing is one beast of a biner. Rated for 45kN, aint much is going to mess it up. You can really tell it by its weight though. It weighs more than my harness.
