Shadow Carabiner

The Shadow SG is our lightest locking carabiner that combines lightweight, strength and functionality into one great little package. The Offset D shape includes a keylock nose to make clipping and unclipping from belays easy.It is a perfect workhorse carabiner for personal use. The barrel on the gate is machined from premium 7075 alloy to give it massive push-in strength. There is no current standard for this test, but at DMM we don't build our carabiners to meet standards; we build our kit as well as we can, eliminate weaknesses and help push the standards forward. It is also anodised for protection against the elements, especially those in coastal environments It is also available in Quicklock and Locksafe gate options. It may be interesting to know that although it shares the same name as the Shadow Straight and Bent biners it is made from different tooling to optmise it's strength and performance. No compromises.
