Description

With no notch in the nose, a thinner, weakened point in the frame is eliminated, and the smooth interior allows for easy de-clipping of directionals while top-roping. Furthermore, the design maximizes the effective “closed” range, as even with some gate flutter the gate will engage with the nose. The forged frame puts the meat of metal where it does the most good, along the major axis and the rope-bearing surface.
  • Attention: For safety, use bent gate carabiners like this one for rope clipping only.
  • Strength of 23kN with closed gate, 9.5kN with open gate, 10kN if cross-loaded.
  • Gate opening of 2cm.
  • Individually tested.
  • Three Sigma tested.
  • CE certified.

These are the Volvo of 'biners. Long-lasting, dependable, classy, beautifully functional, and well worth the extra two dollars.

Together with straight gate Spirits these are the best carabiners money can buy. Not only being wonderful design yet simple but also outliving any other carabiners on my rack. No gate failures nor loss of snap after may years of use.

Use these on all my runners. They are awesome. Easy to get off the gear sling, don't have to worry about them catching. A little pricey, but worth the cost.

The best biners out for gear and rope clipping. The key lock omits the notch. Letting things slide in and out of the biner without getting cought. The best biner for racking wired pro. And really light too! Just wish they were less expencive but you get what you pay for.
