Half and twin ropes are designed to be used as a matching pair handling, elongation and strength differ from brand to brand and size to size. Small 8.1mm diameter saves weight, but, remember to be safe and pair it up. Kernmantle construction combines durable braided sheath and shock-absorbing core for protection from fall forces. UltraDry treatment penetrates sheath and core to retard water absorption and improve abrasion resistance. Meets UIAA tests for falls, impact force and elongation.
