Description
Redesigned to offer improved functionality and increased comfort on all-day climbs, the Black Diamond Chaos harness is a premier trad climbing harness for serious rock hounds. Kinetic Core Construction KC employs a tri-laminate of liquid crystal polymer LCP strands distributed along the horizontal axis of the harness belt. LCP strands are sandwiched between lightweight taffeta and layered with polyethylene foam inserts a durable nylon shell and a soft, breathable lining complete the design. KC eliminates bulk and distributes the load evenly throughout the harness, offering excellent comfort while working routes. Bullhorn-shaped waistbelt is ergonomically designed for all-day comfort. Breathable, padded lumbar insert inreases comfort during all-day climbs. Lightweight aluminum Speed Adjust buckle is prethreaded for quick and secure 1-handed operation. 4 pressure-molded polyethylene gear loops are reinforced with nylon webbing to provide excellent racking space with high strength. Rear haul loop is rated at 15kN.

Great harness. Almost as thin as Arctyrx but more comfortable and only like ounces heavier. Make sure the leg loops are going to fit. I'm 5'7" 150 lbs and the legs loops are a little snug causing some sweat.
