First Shoes 5 out of 5 stars

I got these as my first pair of climbing shoes last week, and after only one visit to the climbing gym they are broken in. Extremely comfortable shoe, no need to take them off after each climb to give your feet a bit of a rest from being uncomfortable. GREAT SHOE

Comfort and Quality 5 out of 5 stars

I originally purchased this shoe for all day traditional climbing, I ended up using them for 80% of my climbing. They are comfortable, if sized right. I got these slightly bigger than my sport route shoes. I can wear them all day or for the hours that I climb. The padding is great and excellent for cracks. The rubber lasted a summer with no quality issues with the rest of the shoe. Lace up works good and with a lower price I used them on everything but my hardest onsite/redpoint projects. So good at what they do I used them for more than they are marketed for "trad" master, more like "climb" master.

I like the shoes a lot. I wish I could give a 4.5

They are very stiff. They have a lot of padding. Your feet are very comfortable. Size them so that your feet just touch all the sides. They should not be tight. They are designed for all day climbing. Difficult to do intricate footwork with them, but quite adequate for most climbs you will hit on a long day. On hot days, your feet will swim in all the sweat that the shoes cause. There is no noticable stretch. Not the best for thin cracks because of their thickness.

I love these shoes. Got a chance to play with them on Robbins crack on Woodson a couple weekends ago and they were great. My feet never got sore, they are fully lined and it was cool to chill out with my shoes on and relax and check the climb or hop onto the belay without wanting to immediatly tear my shoes off.
The pic is a little different than production in that the laces have rubber bumpers next to them and the tongue isn't orange.
