4am

We were runout of our open sky camp at the base of Mt. Borah by mysquito's at 9pm. To escape we began our approach, leaving our sleeping bags in the SUV. 2/3 up Mt. Borah we bivouced, just above the tree line behind a wall someone made of old fallen trees. The wind was to fearce for mysquito's but they were their too. This is me eatting breakfast. My partner and I were expected in Mount Vernon, Washington that evening (about 800 miles). So if we were to get the summit in our day, we needed to start.
