Kaga Pamari, Kaga Tondo and Wangel Debridu are 3 sandstone peaks ranging in height between 800ft and 2400ft that constitute the "hand of fatma" which rises from the desert floor in the middle of the african Sahel (semi-arid land). At the base of this beautiful landmark are the two villages of Dhaari and Garmi. On the majestic faces of these peaks are a mixture of multi-pitch sport routes, trad routes and some aid climbing. Mali is indeed one of the poorest countries of the world and climbing here will be an experience you'll never forget. Also for you skiers out there, you can join the fun with the hombori ski-club, only...they ski on sand!!!;-)
