This is probably the area's best climbing- much better than the name makes it sound. The name comes from two cement items found at the summit. One- a rooster, the other- a short, fat stub of a pole about 6 inches thick which is of unknown purpose. The first item uses the British use of the word 'cock'. The second uses the American use of the word.
It's really a beautiful pieceof rock. Right now, i've only put up one route, but at 4 pitches, it's the area's longest. There are at least a few more obvious trad routes to put up, and if anyone has the goods, there are also blank spots which would make for fine sport routes. The approach is a hike of about 45 minutes. Not very easy to find.
