About Zhejiang Sports Technical College (Hangzhou):

The climbing wall is housed in a volleyball/badminton gymnasium. It's about 9 - 10m high and about 18m wide. For it's size, the climbing area is quite well set-out. On the left wall, is a training/campus area and the beginner wall in the corner, which has 2 or 3 lanes. The rear wall has a small bouldering area on the left, and a selection of climbs on contoured panel, to lead or top-rope, including a pretty decent crack. The right wall has another bouldering section, which follows up into two sections of competition-style sport climbing. One of these has a good amount of overhang. There is even a tightrope set up there! When we were there, it was basically a building site outside and in the foyer of the building. We had to crawl under some bamboo scaffolding to get inside the gym!
Nearest town or city: Hangzhou
Address: 49 Jiagong Rd, Xihu
Directions: The wall is inside a gymnasium, on the grounds of what looks to be student housing for the University. Enter through the main gate of the university, go straight ahead to the end of the path, where there's an Olympic ring statue and turn left. Then walk to the end of that path and into the last building on the left (The playing field will be on your right. If you have troubles, there are security guys on the grounds, that can point you in the right direction (we did a stunning mime interpretation of "rock-climbing" and were escorted into the gym)
