This is Another Areas in Tehran that you can climb, or better to say hike. There is a Historical Story about this area. The Story is about the name of the area, KolakChal, In Persian Koolaak is a stormy weather with lots of snow, and chall means hollow, SO why they call it like this ? If you look at the area carefully you will see that the area is Like a word(V), and in winters the wind makes a storm in this area and rounds the snow in this V place , so they call it a Koolack Chal ! ... Anyways .. In this are you will find a very tall building (6 floors i guess) on the height of 2500 M, also a very big play ground for any kind of games ... and a swimming pool that it's not used for long time back, the building is made of stones, and they say that climbers brought these stones to this place Each climber one Stone ! Even on some of these stones names are written :) .. Good Job Guys .... The area has a very big Restaurant and it's a nice place to camp on your way to Tochal or any other places u might be going.
