About Kamui-Iwa:

Kaumui-Iwa is a rather large piece of rock with long routes and also some multi-pitch routes. There are about 50 routes here.
Nearest town or city: Asahikawa
Directions: From Asahikawa get onto Route 12 which heads to Sapporo. Drive for about 15 or 20 minutes and before entering a tunnel (I think it is the second tunnel from town) turn right and drive down to the carpark a few hundred metres down the road. You can see the rock from here. Cross the bridge and follow the trail for about 20 minutes until you get to the rock.
