| This place has been a bit neglected(2006). There is good quantity and quality of rock but it needs some attention. Some of the routes we climbed were dangerous! Some rusty pitons and pins came out in my hands. There is good scope for some new long lines to be established and many of the older lines need to be re-equiped to make them safe. Take care. |

| Directions: | We had a bit of a hard time finding this place. Get to Abashiri and follow you nose to get out on the Peninsula. Follow the road for about 7-10minutes from town and there is a small bridge on a slight left hand turn. The parking spot is just past the bridge on the left. Cross the road and follow a faint trail slightly right and you should find the track leading down to the beach. Note that it gets a bit overgrown through here in the summer. Also if you come to the turn off that leads to the lighthouse you have driven a bit too far. |
