About Tokotan Bay:
| This place has been altered by a large earthquake in around 2003?. This brought down a large section of the crag. There is now a relatively new bouldering area at the bottom of the crag and currently (2006) new routes are being put up on the "new" section of rock. Therefore some of the routes differ from the guide book (100 free climbing). Once I get organised I'll put up a topo on the website. |

| Directions: | Drive into Akkeshi township and head for the big red bridge. Drive over the bridge and at the first lights turn left. Stay on this road to Tokotan and turn right and down to the rocks visible at the end of the town. |
