About Tobongsan and Insubong:
| Granite trad and sport climbs between 4-6 pitches. 5.7-5.12. First pitch of most routes are slabs in the 5.9-5.11 range. Camping areas and shelters can be found near the base. Park entrance fee is a few thousand Won(a couple dollars). Yvon Chouinard put up two routes here about 30 years ago with the military. Beware of dangerous American Triangle rap stations. |

| Directions: | Entrance is on the East side of Pukhansan National Park just north of Seoul. You can get there by tube out of central seoul, get off at the stop after seracsan at either #414 at Suyu on Line 4, or #115 Dobong on Line 1. Take a taxi from here to the park entrance. Hike up the main drainage to the crags up in the summit area. Approx 45 minute approach hike. Sport climbs found immediately after the hermitage. Multipitch routes are found soon after. |
