About west face:

This place is a sandbag. The rock is not so great. There are several routes that go 4th class up the west slope. Don't rush up...it takes a few minutes to figure it out. There are some easy 5th class bolted routes up gullies on this face also. On the summit there are rappel chains on the longer, uglier 150m sides of this menace, indicating some crazed individuals have been attempting to have fun here. I couldn't spot their routes. This attitude could be the result of my having to nurse a concussion and 9 stitches in the back of my head on the day we were climbing here.
