About GwanDzLing:

In the mountain foothills near BaiHe. Short, soft limestone cliffs with bouldering, toproping and leading. Not the greatest rock, but you climb 'em where you got 'em. WARNING: The limestone here is soft and wet, and I'm guessing that it is highly corrosive. I stumbled upon someone's stash of bolts and bolting gear. If the stuff I saw was being put into the walls (a natural assumption), I would not be leading on it. I saw hardware store grade expansion bolts of questionable origin and quality, and unknown strength. I also found a high quality stainless steel "Fixe" type bolt. Unfortunately it was only two inches long (meaning only a little more than one inch would be in the rock). Climb what you want, but I think I'll only be toproping at GwanDzLing if I climb there.
