About Spirit Mountain:

A new crag in Chong Pli Southern Thailand. There are around 30 routes, all are equipped with titanium bolts,and slings. The routes range from 6a to 7c. With a great range of climbing to be had. Toofa's,delicate slabs,and 3d stalagtightes. In the dry season (Nov-May) you can climb until around 2pm,the walk 30m to the north side for shade in the afternoon. Ther is also some very good bouldering in an impressive cave. We will be back in Nov with a drill so watch this space for updates. If you need any info feel free to E'mail me flameboyance@live.co.uk
Nearest town or city: Krabi
Directions: Take a songtow (pick up taxi), they are white and make a circle route, Krabi bus station-Krabi town-Ao Nang-Fossil beach. You need to get off at Chong Pli. Get off at the turning to Hat Naparatara. Walk north towards the school, you will see the crag directly opposite the school. To get to it carry on along the road about 150m and take the first right turn. Go along this road for about 80m, there is a row of houses on the right. Turn right down the track between the houses, and follow this track straight to the crag.
