Directions: Explanation how to get to Wonderwall Climbing area Use the Al ain Dubai High way to get into Al Ain • At Hilli roundabout which is second round about into al ain take the 3rd exit Marked Shareat Hilli • At next round about Straight across • Next round about straight across • At next Very Small Round about first exit going right along road parallel with border fence on the left and camel market on right • Carry on straight past new construction of border post on left and large radio tower on left to next round • Make double back to go back along raod you just came down 4th exit on round about • You should now be heading back towards border gate construction and radio mast • Just befor border gate road barchs right head this way • The road should have used car sales on the right and a large antennae on the left • At Next round about take 3rd exit towards Al khadrah • Carry on with this road to next round about which is not round but Rugby ball shaped (football for dumb Americans) take 2nd main exit marked Al jizi • Carry on straight with this road to next round about and straight across this one too • You are now on the death section of single road were Locals drive like maniacs and overtake at will so beware. • You carry on straight with this road of death passing the petrol station on your right till you get a V section cutaway in a ridge that the road goes striaght through. • On the other side of the V sect there is a small Round about go straight across this one (not sure of exit or signing). • The road then goes through a small area with walled in crops and some open area of rock covered mars like terrain road curving gentle left and right • You will pass the small white mosque on you left on this road . • The road straightens out and at the first truck crossing road that is sign boarded.(not sure of signs name) take a left here then a right on the truck road • The truck road runs parallel to the main road and if you miss the first crossing road or get on too early its not a problem • Carry on with this truck road( not too far) till you notice a line of telephone poles that head from the road and up and over the ridge on your right • Next to this telephone line is the dust road with the very narrow opening that leads over the ridge go right getting on to this road • Go over the ridge down a steep hill to the bottom with two dry dams/ pans on your left and right • Go left around the rocky ridge ahead • YOU should now have your first glimpse of the Wonderwall • Carry on with dust road till you get to small village • Carry on with the dust road with the rocky ridge on your left the road leads at an angle away from the ridge on you left • Aprox100-200 m after the Raddat Sa Sign board there is a double poled telephone pole • This road heads into the trees and then straightens to drive straight at the wonderwall • At the end of the tree line the road gets very soft and roads junctions of left and right and straight • If you have a 4X4 or rented car or car you don’t like your car carry on right here over the soft gravel onto the dunes at the base of wonderwall if not stop here and walk. • The turn off to get to the Mordor Gondor and The school parking spot is further up the left junction gravel road with a pile of rocks to mark it. Then straight up the ridge as far as you can go. • To go to Good morning block campsite and spaghetti western wall go straight from the junction heading for the good morning block • To go to Hole in the wall or alladins lamp wall go right at junction over some soft sand onto the gravel road till you get to Bernard’s camp site next to a large bolder If you get lost after this detailed explanation you are beyond help and should not be aloud out without a escort.
