First climbed by Tim Balla and Malcolm (HB) Mathieson in the mid 90`s after several years of work by Tim. Then it received a second ascent by A party of two lead by Duncan Steele in 1990. The second ascent was dogged by bad weather namely 30 to 40 knot winds which brought down many fridge sized boulders barely missing the team. The fixed pro are all Stainless Carrots so bring along the hangers. All of the pro is spaced about 5 metres apart and some of it is overgrown by lichen so much so that one has to act like a painter to clean away the growth to find the fixed pro. This wall is a very serious undertaking which in my opinion will never see a one day ascent. There is a huge traverse of about 120 metres across above a small lip which in turn is wildly and outrageously exposed.
