About Cathedral Rocks National Park:

On the New England tablelands the granite domes and giant boulders of the Park offer the motivated climber ample oppurtunity to climb and explore some amazing rock.
Nearest town or city: Ebor (pop.37) Armidale (pop.20 000)
Directions: Drive 10 minutes west from Ebor towards Armidale on Highway 78 (waterfall way) until you see the signs for the park. From Armidale take highway 78 (waterfall way) east for about 45 minutes following signs for Ebor. 10 minutes before Ebor you will see the sign for the left hand turn into the park. Follow the dirt road for about 5 km until you get to the Barokee parking area. Take the Cathedral Rocks loop trail and when it forks, stay to the left, when you come to the next intersection hang a right on the trail to the top of Cathedral Rocks. 5 minutes up this gradually steepening rocky track you will come to the climbing. Dark, coarse, water streaked granite.
