Euglah Rock
About Euglah Rock:
From the Euglah rocks lookout head back to the campground just down the hill towards the way up to the Kaputar plateau. Just before the entrance to the campground there is a fire trail leading off to the left. Take this trail for about 1.5 k`s and pull up near where you think the saddle is that leads to Euglah Rock. You should find a track running off the road to the right. Follow this up to the base of the cliff. A guide book for the area is available which is printed by Rock Magazine. Euglah rock is very similar to Frog Buttress so far as the cracks in the cliff are concerned. Rock is a little more brittle than Frog is though. There`s some awesome speccy climbing here. Some of the best that Kaputar has to offer. |
