Description:

Starts 60 metres off the deck on a sloper ledge. Follow the ringbolts up the slightly overhung crimper face to 3.5 metre totally horizontal roof. Up and into the bell chamber and then pull the lip baby and then head on up through reasonable jugs for an easy topout after being severely worked. Lee Skidmore, Phil Box 9/9/2001

Well, I was a hairs whisker from getting the FFA on this one but Lee worked that bit harder so I had to settle for having my name second on the FFA team. It took us about 3 or 4 goes each to send it but now of course I can get it every time. The route has only seen about a dozen ascents and only 2 onsights one of which was in sneakers.
It`s got a few cruxes, getting your head around the wild exposure is one of them and looking up at the huge horizontal roof and then actually realizing that the bulging face before it is stiffer than first anticipated. Naturally pulling the lip is where most fail so that sequence of moves needs to be dialled. It`s an awesome route, verrry similar to Kachoong at Arapiles.
