Plaque Buttress
About Plaque Buttress:
Trying to get a rope on some of these can be well nigh impossible at times, particularly at the end of the day when those who had retired to camp decide they have a couple more climbs in them, or they want to show off to their friends or climbers returning from anything north.
Dramp (21 or 22) has about a 10% success rate from what I've seen and even that's inflated by the aforementioned show-offs. Sonic Boom has about a 5% success rate (even the show-offs have trouble pulling the lip), and I person ally haven't seen anyone do Cumelittle (24 - 26 in my opinion). Virtually no-one leads anything here. It's beginnersville but that shouldn't stop you joining the masses and trying to pull on the plaque itself (Age Of Raisins) or get out of the cave on Dramp elegantly. If you want to demoralise an overconfident beginner, get them onto Minimus (originally 13) and watch them flounder. It's not hard ... once you know how. |
