About Taipan Wall:

This is Australia's best chunk of stone.It is an orange sweeping wave of immaculate sandstone up to 90m high which hosts some of the nations best known testpieces. Some routes are all bolted, but most of them consist of a mixture of tricky gear, bold runouts and the occaisonal trusty Australian carrot bolt. Don't be put off by this description though, the moves and exposure gained will be rembered long after you leave this paradise. The most famous line is the two pitch 'Serpentine', a grade 30 (5.13d) endurnace face route up the centre of this amazing wall.
