About 45 minutes from Christchurch, just a few kilometers from Little River, is a great trad and sport climbing crag that overlooks the south Pacific to the east and the Southern Alps to the west.
From Christchurch:just before entering Little River township, turn right into Okuti Valley Rd, to Kinloch Road, uphill to Bossu Road. A few km on, turn into Gap Road. At times as you drive along the ridge line you can see imposing profile of the crag to the south. Stop about 500m before the crag at a small lay-by, walk about 30m along the road to a gate in the young wind break. Follow the farm track for a few minutes to the crag.
