There are about 30 lines on this crag, the most notable being ***Falter(22). Almost all the routes are trad, the rest are mixed. The routes are 15-20m high. access is drive up and a 10-15 minute walk.The approach is from above and the only realistic descent is by rappell so a second rope wouldn't be a bad idea. The usual decent is near "Gorse Gulley". The area to the right of GG is pretty clean and free of gorse. The crag dries well after rain but will still seep in places. shiver among the bush at the bottom, enjoy the post-card view over Akaroa Harbor while belaying from the top.
