About The Three Sisters:

Three obvious crags visible from Lyttelton on the south side of Mount Cavendish. Two of the crags offer some very good sport, trad and mixed climbing in the 17-27 range. The Twisted Sister, on the left, has a nice collection of some staunch sport lines, and the Middle Sister has some very good trad and mixed lines. The Ugly Sister is not worth the bother.
Approach: Although one way to access the crags is to drive up Broadleaf Lane and then bash your way straight down the hill to the crags, a much easier way is to simply walk along the Crater Rim Walkway from west, past Lyttelton Rock, until you are are below Mount Cavendish and above either the Twisted or Middle Sister. There are vague tracks leading down around each end and between the two crags.
