About Kawakawa Bay:

Kawakawa Bay boasts solid rhyolite cliffs from 25-80m with an array of three star moderate trad and sport routes. The talus at the base of the Bluff provides over a hundred boulders reminiscent of Squamish--everything from steep to slab, lowball to highball, slopers to crimps to jugs. Bad landings are abundant, so take in your pads and scrub brushes. Huge potential for development in all areas.
