Fun! Big Falls! Interesting Rock! GREAT on rainy days.
The climbs at BoPete are quite interesting for many reasons. The rock is confusing to say the least, and even the easiest climbs can get the best of you as all the holds, no matter how juggy blend (dont trust the chalk marks), same with the hangers. It's kinda like the Maple Canyon of NZ... The rock is fairly clean up to the top anchors (beyond that its choss). A GREAT place to climb when its raining buckets, as the overhang will keep you totally dry. Big falls await. This is a GREAT climb for those looking to get comfortable in the air.
