About Sokolitza:

The rock here is limestone, mainly overhang, except for 2-3 routes. The routes are equipped with bolts, long lives, and glued pegs. The length of the routs is about 15-25. Equipment: 50m long rope, 12-15 tape slings
Nearest town or city: Vratza
Directions: This region includes two areas equipped as "climbing gardens": the Small Cave and the Big Cave. These are visible from the road for Zgorigrad after the gorge Vrattzata. The caves are situated 15 m north-northeastward from the abandoned quarry (good place for camping with drinking water)

Access Issues: The best approach is from the Vratsata pass along the road to Zgorigrad. After about 200m you turn left taking the road to "Ledenika". Near the second big curve (left) there is an old abandoned quarry. You can reach the place by car or by foot (about 15 min.). Then continue following the clearly seen walking route passing by a small source of fresh water (%u041F7). The Small Hole is right above it (2-3min.)
