About Gurnards Head (OS):
This is a very impressive greenstone crag, popular. At 250 feet it is not small, so watch the tides. The headland has a few really classic climbs, Hard Severe to E3. There are plenty of other zawns and buttresses with everything from Severes to E4. Mostly northwest facing, best in the late afternoon if it is chilly, but start at low tide. |
