A popular crag with about 100 routes in all grades to E4. Good gritstone, 30 to 90 feet tall, and plenty of good routes. Well worth a visit. Home of the classic VS (and I am not making this up)...Mohammed the Mad Monk of Moorside Home for Mental Misfits. Climb it just for the name!!! |

| Directions: | OS 102 GR SD 591 229 Alt. 142m 5 miles SSE of Preston. From Junction 29 on the M6 take the A6 south to the second roundabout, turn left on the B5256, past a roundabout and over the M61. After a third of a mile turn right and the crag is there in about 5 minutes. |
