About Beacon Scar (OS):

A damp, wooded, green crag facing northwest. During a dry spell, the climbing here is very good and well worth the visit. About 50 climbs, lots of DIFFS and SEVERES, with several HVS and even a couple of Extremes up to E4. Some routes actually approach 70 feet in height. Beware of some of the finishes, though, the top is not always solid.
