About Hesleden Dene (OS):
A decent area with some good rock and some poorer. There are about 15 routes on the two crags here. Although Jack Rock is more imposing at 120 feet, the better climbing is down in the valley on The Buttress, at only 25 feet tall. The rock there is very good and offers some excellent bouldering on a few outcrops. Worth visiting to boulder around. |
