About Tranmire Rocks (OS):

This is a band of sandstone outcrops about 15 to 25 feet high and about 300 yards long. About 50 routes, mainly in the lower grades around DIFF, but some harder problems exist up to about 6a. A nice, scenic situation and southwest facing for warm sun year round.
Nearest town or city: Stokesley
Directions: OS 93 GR NZ 575 006 Alt. 329m
6 miles SSE of Stokesley. Take the B1257 south for about 8 miles to Seave Green, then turn left and go up the small road for about half a mile. From here, take the public footpath up the hill to the left of the crag, then bear right along the other public footpath to the crag.
