About Froggatt Edge (OS):

A great crag. 30-60 ft. high and about a half mile long. Famous for it's unprotected slab routes, but it has over 150 routes covering all of the grades. Nearly all routes can be well protected and if not, top-ropes are easy to arrange. Quick to dry after rain or fog. Sections are listed from left to right.
Nearest town or city: Bakewell
Directions: OS 119 GR SK 248 766 Alt. 248m
6 miles NNE of Bakewell. Take B6001 to Calver, over the junction then take B6054. After 1 mile pass the Chequers Pub, go another mile and park at the white gate. Follow the footpath through this gate and and past another after a half mile. The crag begins at a boulder 200 yards farther on.
