About Hen Cloud (OS):
A very impressive gritstone crag with some excellent lines on it. Over 100 routes, Diff to E4, with some reaching over 100 feet in length. There are some very difficult walls for which a top rope is highly recommended as bolts are strongly discouraged here. Bring a thirty foot length of rope or webbing as the belays are set back a ways from the edge. Southwest facing but very exposed, always bring a jacket, and enjoy the great views. |
