About Horseshoe Quarry (OS):

Not bad for a limestone quarry, better than it looks. About 80 routes up very steep rock, most are in the mid Extreme grades, and almost all routes are bolted. Worth a visit if you are a solid Extreme leader.
Nearest town or city: Stoney Middleton
Directions: OS 119 GR SK 208 761 Alt. 260m
Four miles north of Bakewell. Head north to Baslow, then take the A619 to the B6001. Turn left on the A623 to Stoney Middleton, pass through the village and continue up the valley, past the Eyam turn off and continue another half mile. On the right is a track leading to the quarry, park where you do not block the track.
