About Ravens Tor (OS):

A very good, steep limestone crag, with perhaps the best middle-grade climbing in the Dovedale Valley. About 30 routes, VS to E5, with a few very easy routes. East facing and chilly on a winter's day. Worth a visit. |

| Directions: | OS 119 GR SK 141 539 Alt. 202m 5 miles NNW of Ashbourne. Take the A515 north from Ashbourne for 6 miles, and turn off left to Alstonfield. After half a mile take the left fork for light vehicles and after 400 yards pass through Milldale to the car park. Dovedale Valley to the south is signposted. The first crag on your right heading south is Raven's Tor. |
