Rocher Fin
About Rocher Fin:
A wonderful place in this forest! There's a Stonehenge feeling up there... Boulders are sparse and not too highn, the falls are often excellent. DRIES QUICKLY when windy and/or sunny. Good place too acclimate in Bleau. Seldom crowdy. Le Rocher Fin is a hill 1 mile North of the Parking de La Vallée de La Mée, northeast of the village called Le Vaudoué. Park, walk north on Le Chemin de La Vallée de la Mée. 800 meters after the fence, take the left fork direction NNW, walk pass Le Diplodoccus. The path makes a left curve, direction NE. When the path narrows and goes E, you are on the SE side of the hill. Go on top where the circuits start. Yellow circuit n°2, 14 problems up to F3b, no highball. Problems 1, 2, 13 are well polished... Orange circuit n°4, around 40 problems between F2b and F4a. Blue circuit n°1, over 65 problems between F3b and F4c! No highballs. BUT A SERIOUS CIRCUIT! Red circuit n°3, 34 problems between F4b and F6b, not high but sometimes the fall can hurt (example problem 19). |
