Twägerstein
About Twägerstein:
Some moderate trad climbing possibilities(5.4-5.9) on the left and right sides of the crag. The central area has sport routes (8 or so), of 5.10b-5.10d difficulty. |
Approach: | From the DAV campgrounds, follow the path into the woods. At the trail junction, continue to the right. Follow the main trail, to the second trail junction, splitting to the left. You will then see the crags, the first of these are Twagerstein (to the left) and the Krokodil(to the right). The crags are numbered from north to south, crag #1 meaning the northernmost. For these crags, continue walking along the cliff bottoms. Twagerstein is #22. |
